Senior Web Optimization Specialist

What’s Cool About This Job

The Senior Web Optimization Specialist will contribute to the strategy and own tactical execution of the optimization and personalization program working closely with marketing team members. This role will manage the testing roadmap with the goal of improving online engagement and conversions.


Bring Your Expertise – and Your Passion

Bring your expertise in data analysis, user behavior tracking, and A/B testing to identify opportunities, improve user experience, and drive conversions. From optimizing landing pages to refining customer journeys, your skills will ensure our digital presence is finely tuned for maximum results. Leverage your understanding of the methodology of optimization and choose and prioritize projects that have a clear goal and proposed business impact. Present on optimization metrics, pulling information out of the data and explaining it to larger audiences

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement data-driven conversion rate optimization strategies to improve website performance and increase conversion rates.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gain insights into user behavior and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create a robust optimization program across all eligible geographies, industries, topics, and target accounts, leveraging deep site analytics, feedback, and stakeholder input.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimization strategies, including product, marketing, design, and development.
  • Define optimization scope, prioritization, and strategy. Manage execution of all aspects of the optimization program.
  • Manage testing roadmap and implementation of A/B, multivariate testing and personalization initiatives to optimize website elements, user flows, and conversion funnels.
  • Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and opportunities for optimization.
  • Monitor and track the impact of optimization efforts on conversion rates and other relevant metrics. Present key optimization successes to leadership.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on A/B, multivariate experimentation and testing experience. 
  • Managing optimization/testing roadmaps and implementation.
  • Deep expertise in tools like optimization and personalization tools like Mutiny, CrazyEgg, VWO, Optimizely, etc.
  • Proven experience with Google Analytics.
  • Experience in optimizing for web and email.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative and critical thinker, able to generate innovative ideas for optimization.
  • Understanding of effective web design and key UX principles.
  • Knowledge of web marketing best practices for engagement and conversion optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment where innovation is expected.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of improvement with little direction.
  • Fine attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate end-results.
  • Excellent communication skills while work with multiple cross-functional teams.
