Help Desk Administrator

About The Position

Weka is a successful Start-up company whose high-performance distributed file system is revolutionizing the storage world and is the world’s fastest scalable file system today. We are looking for an Help Desk Administrator to join us for an exciting opportunity!

You will be responsible for Help Desk Administration of a 160 employees global company in growth.

You will participate in supporting cloud services, network and endpoint security solutions, and a central SSO login to 3rd party services.

Responsibilities:

IT support for a group of 80 developers and 80 support, sales and marketing people (laptops, Mac/Linux/Windows, network, backups, VPN, printers, multimedia, meeting rooms) 

Global company SSO and SaaS administration:

  • Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite)
  • Microsoft Azure
  • AWS
  • Zoom
  • Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Meraki
  • Cato Networks
  • SSO, SAML
  • Procurement of IT equipment, manage suppliers

Requirements

  • At least 2 year of experience as a sysadmin, IT support or an exceptional Help Desk in Hi-tech company
  • Endpoint administration (Windows, Mac)
  • At lease basic network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
  • Experience with writing clear and comprehensive how-to guides, Q&As, and KB articles
  • User management (any platform, Google preferred)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, learn quickly and master new technological fields without outside help
  • Service-oriented personality with the ability to work under pressure
  • Dedication, organization, availability, and responsibility
  • Fluent English - both written and verbal. 50% of the work is with American teams
