WekaIO respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.
This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices WekaIO applies to weka.io domain website(s).

Please review this Privacy Policy carefully. To the maximum extent permitted by law, when you use or access the Offerings, or when you submit information to or through the Offerings, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

What Information We Collect About You
  1. Information you provide to us: We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us. For example, we collect Personal Information, including but not limited to, your name, job title, company, email address, phone number, address, and device/browser information when you provide information on a form to us, or participate in events or promotions. We also collect and use information you submit through any support or customer portal related to, or in connection with, the Services we provide, that you make with us and/or in the context of our services. We also receive some information (including, without limitation, any messages, feedback, reviews and any other comments or communications) submitted by you to our websites, services, products or in other ways, such as if you participate in forum, blogs, public channels, interact with our social media accounts or in any other manner that you decide to communicate with us. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to register with us or to take advantage of some of our services, promotions and offers. If you have provided us with a means of contacting you for particular purposes, we may use such means to communicate with you for those purposes. If you previously provided us with such information but no longer wish to receive communications from us, please indicate your preference by sending an email to info@weka.io.
  2. Information we collect automatically: Whenever you interact with our websites, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, “cookie” information, and the page you requested. “Cookies” are identifiers we transfer to your computer or device that allow us to recognize your browser or mobile device and tell us how and when pages and features are visited and by how many people. We and our third-party partners, such as our advertising and analytics partners, may use cookies and other tracking technologies (e.g., device identifiers and pixels) to provide functionality and to recognize you across different websites and devices. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your computer or device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may necessarily prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. If you click on a link to a third party website, such third party may also transmit cookies to you. This Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties. We may collect information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other devices you use to access the websites. This device information may include your connection type, settings, operating system, browser type, IP address, URLs of referring/exit pages, or device identifiers. We may use your IP address and/or country preference in order to approximate your location to provide you with a better experience. How much of this information we collect may depend on the type and settings of the device you use and the settings you choose on such device and/or in your browser. When we collect usage information, we only use this data in aggregate form, and not in a manner that would identify you personally.
  3. Information we receive from other sources: We work with a global network of business and channel partners. Some of these partners help us to market and promote our products, generate leads for us, and resell our products. In this context, we may receive information such as contact information, company name, what products you have purchased or may be interested in, evaluation information you have provided, what events you have attended, and what country you are in. We also may receive information about you and your activities on and off the Services from third-party partners, such as advertising and market research partners who provide us with information about your interest in and engagement with, our Services and online advertisements.

    Finally, please note that some of the above mentioned personal information will be used for detecting, taking steps to prevent, and prosecution of fraud or other illegal activity, to identify and repair errors, to conduct audits, and for security purposes. Personal information may also be used to comply with applicable laws, with investigations performed by the relevant authorities, law enforcement purposes, and/or to exercise or defend legal claims. In certain cases, we may or will anonymize or de-identify your personal information and further use it for internal and external purposes, including, without limitation, to improve the services and for research purposes. “Anonymous Information” means information which does not enable identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our services. We may use Anonymous Information and/or disclose it to third parties without restrictions (for example, in order to improve our services and enhance your experience with them).

How We Use Information Collected

WekaIO uses personal information for our own internal business operations, and to market, deliver
and improve our products and services. We also may use your information to help you complete a transaction or order, to communicate with you, to allow you to interact with us (including, via third party service providers), to deliver products/services to you, to bill you for products/services you purchased, and to provide ongoing service and support. Occasionally we may use your information to contact you to complete surveys that we use for quality assurance purposes.

We may also use your personal information to send you (or have our business partners or marketing agencies send you on our behalf) marketing information or to contact you for marketing research. At a minimum, we will always give you the opportunity to “opt out” of receiving marketing materials you choose to unsubscribe from. You will continue to receive communications such as receipts, confirmation emails and customer service updates that are considered necessary to provide the service to you.

  6. For the purpose of conducting US Export law compliance checks, passing your information to our contracted vendors;
  7. To third party service providers who help us with our business operations or other aspects of our business; and
  8. For data and customer relations management, passing your data to our contracted service providers.

We reserve our right to disclose your personal information to a third party if we have a good faith belief in our sole discretion that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Legal Notice and Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of WekaIO, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
