What you'll be doing:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to up our Control Plane team. You’ll help craft innovative features and key components for Weka’s main product, which is a distributed file system that provides critical services and value for our customers.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll:
- Design, implement, unit test, and maintain features to be of production quality performance and stability
- Take ownership and lead the development of different components in the control plane
- Work alongside Product and QA personnel to improve correctness and quality
- 5+ years of experience in C++/Go development
- Experience with Python
- Experience with development over Linux, including low-level User-Mode OS knowledge.
It's nice if you have:
- Experience in the storage industry, databases, or other infrastructure
- Experience working with AWS or other public clouds
- Experience working on complex and large-scale and/or distributed systems, databases, or others
USA Residents Only: The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $170,000-$240,000. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Flexible Time off (FTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws.
