Bring Your Expertise – and Your Passion
The Vice President of Cloud Sales at WEKA.io will report to the CRO and be a part of the Global Sales Leadership Team. This role will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the growth and success of our cloud sales division. This role requires a dynamic and experienced sales executive with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the cloud sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align cloud sales initiatives with overall company objectives and vision.
- Build plan and execute on creating Cloud Design Wins for sell to and sell with our Cloud Partners (AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI)
- Sales Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the cloud sales team to maximize performance, engagement, and professional growth.
- Establish and track key performance metrics to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales goals.
- Lead the Cloud Alliance team in building programs and design wins to drive Cloud revenue
- Market Development:
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments to drive growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to position WEKA.io’s cloud solutions effectively.
- Customer Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Drive customer success and satisfaction through effective sales strategies and exceptional service delivery.
- Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely achievement of sales targets.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with broader company strategies.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer insights and market trends.
- Innovation:
- Champion innovative sales approaches and technologies to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales team.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the cloud technology or enterprise software industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performance sales teams and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive business growth and manage complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Understanding of enterprise sales processes, customer relationship management, and sales pipeline management.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
