Video Producer

What’s Cool About This Job

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be our in-house video expert, shooting, editing, building our video portfolio, managing our studio space, and coordinating with agency partners to support more significant initiatives. You’ll use a hands-on approach through the entire video workflow – camera work, lighting, and post-production, including motion graphics skillsets.

Video content is a crucial and growing part of our story, enabling innovators and creators to build the future today using the WEKA Data Platform. As a part of the creative team at WEKA, you'll get the chance to express our brand through moving pictures. We're looking for someone who knows how to wrangle a camera, build fantastic motion graphics, and help to unearth the golden nuggets for (digital) film.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Work closely with key project stakeholders and content team members to produce videos for marketing, social media, and internal and external events.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to source additional footage, animations, and other assets
  • Travel to events, corporate offices, and other locations as needed
  • Actively develop post-production processes and workflows and motion graphic style guidelines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Practical experience in media, filmmaking, communications, or education in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in video creation, post-production, and motion graphics experience across multiple platforms/channels is ideal
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition or equivalent for video content production and editing
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana, frame.io, or equivalent workflow software
  • Excellent communication skills with directing on-screen talent
  • Bonus if you understand B2B brand marketing strategies, particularly in the technology field 

USA Residents Only: The OTE range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $135,000- $160,000. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Flexible Time off (FTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws.
