110 – Interview with Liran Zvibel, founder and CEO, WEKA

WEKA joined the 44th IT Press Tour a few days ago and it was the perfect opportunity to discuss with Liran Zvibel and record an interview. WEKA is hot and its trajectory is impressive so we needed to get an update. At the same time the company announced a major release – WEKA 4 – with key new features and capabilities. We spoke about the genesis of the company, the product philosophy and how it is different from other parallel file systems but also about the go-to-market model, the pricing and of course about the future.
