Software Defined Storage Architectures on Open Compute

With focus on enabling the Storage Software ecosystem on Open Compute, and after extensive testing at Facebook's Open Hardware Lab, we want to share the different approaches that were shown to work well. The workshop will include participation by both Open Source and proprietary SDS providers: Netapp (Ontap Selec), IBM (GPFS/SpectrumScale), Red Hat (GlusterFS, Ceph), Excelero (NVMesh) and a few others. Each provider will have a few minutes to describe their solution, which hardware they used to stand it up, and performance/manageability/reliability findings from the tests. (55 mins)
