Channel Manager - Supermicro
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced sales leader who can identify, build a pipeline, and grow revenue with one of our premier server partners, Supermicro.
This position requires strategic alignment, creating mindshare for joint solutions, and accelerating the pipeline of new business opportunities.
You will lead the development of the Weka.IO Supermicro GTM with a primary focus on generating net new subscription license revenue through this partner, working with the Weka and Supermicro field sales and identifying and working with their indirect channels. Pipeline and revenue growth are paramount, so you will be responsible for managing and growing the global number.
If you have a passion for winning and a proven track record of success in creating and selling deals with large global companies, you should send us your resume. As a startup company, we're looking for people that are flexible, open-minded, and able to wear many hats.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure Supermicro team, and their channels are aware of Weka’s solution and have the tools to identify opportunities
· Educate Supermicro team on Weka’s competitive advantage, and enable them to articulate it to end customers and channels
· Build the Weka/Supermicro joint solution details, and make sure (directly or through others) that hardware configuration is optimal and software offering is clear so Supermicro team
· Follow up on each of the deals in the pipeline and make sure that both Weka and Supermicro team provide the required attention and help
· Educate the Weka team on Supermicro’s solution strengths and weaknesses, thus helping them to navigate the right deals for Supermicro
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
· Past experience in IT infrastructure channel enablement
· Past experience in driving complex deals with large global companies
· Being able to create and develop and manage key executive relationships
· Reasonable technical understanding
· Past experience in start-up products
· Excellent presentation and communication skills
· Work out of our Campbell, CA headquarters with the ability to travel 30-50% (when safe to do so)
· Have a BS/BA or equivalent
Preferred Qualification:
· Past storage experience
· Past sales or pre-sales experience
· Familiarity with the Supermicro organization
· Past experience in software-defined products using server hardware vendors as channels
