Position Overview:

We are seeking a Demand Generation Specialist to help develop, execute, and optimize inbound and outbound campaign strategies designed to create top-of-funnel leads for WekaIO. As part of a small, dynamic and fast-paced marketing team, you will have the opportunity to shape programs aimed at building our brand and driving demand for our storage software that serves several booming industries, such as artificial intelligence/machine learning, genomics research, and financial services. Creating customer interest for WekaIO, you will be a key player in driving the success of our business. The position will be based in Campbell, Calif., and will report to the Director, Outbound Marketing. 

Job Description:

  • Work with the cross functional marketing team to design, launch, and optimize demand generation campaigns (including digital, social, email, ABM, and virtual events)
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign KPIs within a given budget, as well as develop ongoing performance reporting
  • Manage an A/B testing plan to constantly hone campaign performance
  • Configure marketing automation and CRM platforms to ensure all reporting and lead generating activities are being tracked for marketing program ROI analysis
  • Help create and launch focused Account Based Marketing programs
  • Leverage all channels to help generate Top-of-Funnel leads (virtual events, content syndication, digital ads, social media etc)
  • Leverage Marketo to help generate MQLs with effective nurture streams, etc.
  • Develop sales enablement playbooks that illustrate the sales motion for marketing programs


  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in creating effective digital marketing and demand gen programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of interdisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple deliverables on time and on budget
  • Hands-on experience deploying search marketing, display advertising, email programs, optimization testing and social media is strongly preferred 
  • Experience with buyer personas and developing a content strategy to move buyers through the buyer journey is a plus
  • Proficiency in Wordpress,, Marketo, 6Sense, Uberflip, and Sprout are required.
  • Demonstrated experience using BI or analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tableau, is desired
  • Should have a strong understanding of ABM strategies
  • An understanding of lead management, sales cycle and routing processes preferred
  • Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver), is beneficial
  • Prior data storage industry experience, is preferred but not required
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and make optimization decisions based from data analytics
