What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be the team’s first dedicated QA expert. The Weka team is currently focused on the development of utilities and frameworks for both our customers and internal use. As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for testing multiple projects developed by the team, which include web services, CLI utilities, integrations of weka with third-party platforms, like AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Openshift, Rancher.
As a Senior QA in Automation, you’ll:
- Take ownership of current codebase testing and implementation for new projects;
- Ensure we deliver well-tested products, which might include manual tests, and when time is short, implement proper automated tests;
- Motivate the team to stay focused on the development and safely rely on automated regression tests for previously implemented features; and
- Participate in development from a user perspective in order to improve usability and from an internal perspective in order to properly understand the implementation process and create a suitable test plan.
Requirements
- Experience with Rest API test (Frontend and Backend)
- 1-3 years experience with Python automation (Pytest)
- 1-3 years of experience working with Linux and Bash
- Ability to create automated regression for new projects from scratch, including both configuring the testing framework and completing the tests themselves
It's nice if you have:
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Openshift, or other Kubernetes based platforms
